Emma Crawley stood on her head, but the Ryerson Rams (2-5-0) still fell 3-1 to the Windsor Lancers (4-3-1) Friday night at the Mattamy Athletic Centre. Crawley stopped 36 shots, including 16 in the second, while her counterpart Ingrid Sandven turned aside 15.
“Obviously you can never be happy with a loss,” said Crawley. “But it was a lot of shots so I can’t necessarily be disappointed.”
Crawley was perfect on 28 shots but with just over a minute to play in the second until fourth-year forward Candice Chevalier capped a dominant period by Windsor with a goal.
