Ryerson’s Mattamy Athletic Centre will be the home for basketball at the Pan Am and Parapan Am games next July.

With 7,000 athletes from 41 countries across North, South and Central America competing in 36 Pan Am and 15 Parapan Am sports, the Pan Am games is the third largest multi-sport event in the world. The Toronto games will mark the third time Canada has held the event, with Winnipeg hosting in both 1967 and 1999.

“Ryerson is very excited to be sharing its magnificent athletic centre with fans and athletes from across the Americas,” said Ryerson President Sheldon Levy.
