The Pittsburgh Penguins will not have centre Sidney Crosby for Thursday’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning with an upper-body injury and head coach Mike Sullivan expects him to be out about a week.
Crosby skated on his own before the team’s practice on Thursday after not skating at all Wednesday. While not getting into specifics, Sullivan confirmed that Crosby does not have a concussion.
